Scope of Services
- Interpretation Mode: This includes various modes of interpretation offered such as in-person, over-thephone, and video remote.
- Language Pairs: A comprehensive list of the language pairs available for interpretation services will be provided.
- Medical Specialties: Services will cover a range of medical specialties or settings including but not limited to primary care, surgery, and mental health.
Client Responsibilities
- Booking and Scheduling: Clients are required to follow the specified processes for booking and scheduling interpretation services.
- Patient Information: Clients must provide necessary patient information, including medical history and consent forms.
- Communication: It is essential for clients to communicate clearly and provide accurate information to interpreters for effective service.
Interpreter Responsibilities
- Confidentiality: Interpreters must maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines, where applicable.
- Accurate Interpretation: Interpreters are expected to provide precise and impartial interpretation, ensuring no information is added or omitted.
- Professional Conduct: All interpreters must exhibit professional conduct, demonstrating respect for patients, healthcare providers, and cultural sensitivity.
Quality Assurance
- Training: Interpreters are required to undergo training in relevant areas such as medical terminology and various languages including English, Hindi, Mizo, Chin, and Burmese.
- Quality Control Measures: Regular monitoring and evaluation will be implemented to assess interpretation quality.
- Feedback Mechanism: A mechanism will be established for clients to provide feedback on interpretation services, ensuring continuous improvement.
Payment and Cancellation
- Fees and Payment Terms: Clients are required to submit advanced fees for interpretation services, typically half of the quoted package fee.
- Cancellation Policy: The cancellation policy requires clients to provide a notice period of 30 days, along with any associated fees.
Liability and Disclaimer:
- Limitation of Liability: There will be specified limitations of liability regarding errors or omissions in interpretation services.
- Disclaimer: The interpretation service is not liable for any medical decisions or outcomes resulting from the interpretations provided.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- Applicable Law: The provision of interpretation services and any disputes arising from these services will be governed by the laws of India.
- Jurisdiction: The courts of Delhi, India, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes or claims arising from the provision of interpretation services by ChinlungMedicare.
